Calcitriol
● Calcitriol is indicated for the prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis, senile osteoporosis, chronic renal failure, hyperparathyroidism, as well as hypocalcemia in dialysis patients.
● Clinically, the recommended dosage of Calcitriol is 0.25 μg to 0.5 μg daily. Calcitriol is one of the recommended therapeutic agents in the Guidelines for the Diagnosis, Evaluation, Prevention, and Treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease-Mineral and Bone Disorder (CKD-MBD) (2017 Edition) [1].
